We took our first excursion of the summer to Emerald Isle. Daddy had a guy's weekend with his buddies from Wake, so mommy, Jack, Mae, and Mimi headed to the shore for a few days. Here's the bathing beauty moments before a mouthful of sand. Our trips to the beach each day were brief, but the kids had fun at the aquarium, kayaking, and digging in the sand.
