Mae and Tucket live in a symbiotic relationship. Tucket knows if she's patient enough a little of Mae's meal will drop to the floor (actually Mae sneaks Tucket food. She has a lot to learn about being sneaky!) But in return, Mae gets to dress Tucket up. I don't think Tucket knew what she was bargaining for when she entered the Sellner household 9 years ago.
