We packed up 2 weeks ago and headed to Mimi and G-daddy's house. Jack and Mae spent 5 days there, while we traveled to Las Vegas. Nonni and Papa met us in Raleigh and we packed up once again for a weekend in Washington DC, or as Jack affectionately named it, George Washington. Between parties and a wedding, we spent time at the National Zoo and the new Air and Space Museum at Dulles International Airport.
Adam and Jack are watching the orangutans cross the wires overhead.
Mae has a few new tricks. She started clapping a couple of weeks ago and now she is learning how to say bye-bye with the corresponding hand motions. She came back from what we endearingly termed "Berry Boot Camp," an absolute delight. Her brother sends her into stitches and she's been wrinkling her nose when she smiles.
