At Mimi and G-Daddy's house, both kids run to the same place as soon as their little feet pass through the threshold - the dress-up trunk. Mae's stand-by has become "my ballewina." My mother's grandmother made this tu-tu for my mother's dance recital when she was SIX.
After many leaps and a few twirls, Mimi had to perform minor "surgery" to re-attach the skirt to the bodice.
