Christmas with the Berrys

We took a quick trip to Raleigh on Saturday to celebrate Christmas with my family.
Noah and Amy relaxing on the sofa before dinner.

After our meal, we've adopted the British tradition of opening "crackers" or "poppers." All new dinner guests (Will's friend Karen is pictured above) must take part in this odd tradition, including the donning of the....
...paper crown.

It also holds some not so funny jokes and not too witty riddles.

This year two crackers had "magic tricks". Jack is trying to stump the magician.
Our visit was brief but, very merry.
