Yes, it's not a typo. That was how they printed Mae's name in the program. Her very first dance recital and props were given to a boy name "Mac Sellner". But all was not lost. Here are a few shots of the very proud ballewina. We're hoping to upload a video soon.
They looked a little more like "firecrackers" from a Fourth of July celebration with their red, white, and blue skirts. Fortunately, and unbeknownst to the parents, the room mothers made a quick switch-a-roo before they headed on stage for their number - Silver Bells.

Following the performance, I grabbed her off the stage and asked her what she thought. Mae's first response: I got a lollipop! Here she is enjoying her prize with the other "silver bells."
